Ifrah Foundation's vision is the eradication of FGM/C in Somalia and beyond. This vision will be achieved through sustained engagement with Government and strategic partners, in their key areas of action: Advocacy, Awareness and Community Empowerment. Ifrah Foundation was founded in 2010 by Ifrah Ahmed, an Irish citizen originally from Somalia. Ifrah Ahmed is one of the world's foremost campaigners against FGM/C and is Gender Advisor to the Government of Somalia.

Ifrah Foundation is a registered charity in Ireland and in Somalia.
