2024 General Assembly - 20th of June

The 2024 Network General Assembly will be taking place on the 20th of June

What is the General Assembly?

The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of End FGM European Network, and it is made up of all full members of the network. Associate members and Friends of End FGM EU may participate as observers – meaning that they can take part, and take the floor, but they do not have the right to vote.

The General Assembly needs to convene at least once a year and deliberate over the following: Statutory changes, Approval of accounts and budgets, elect representatives to the Board, Vote on new members, approve the annual work plan of the network, etc.

Therefore, all Members can attend the General Assembly, though only Full Members have the right to vote.

Who can attend?

Our General Assembly is open to all members.

Since this year we are meeting online it is an opportunity to allow for more delegates to attend the General Assembly. Each member can therefore nominate up to two delegates to attend the General Assembly.

Full members will have to specify which delegate is the official delegate and which is the substitute delegate. This is because each full member gets one vote, and we need to know who will be voting on behalf of each full member.

Join us!

The General Assembly will take place online, on the 20th of June, starting at 9 am.

If you are a Network Member who has not received an official invitation, or an Associate Member interested in attending, you can register here or send an email to info@endfgm.eu.
