The online workshop, held from 3:00 to 4:30 PM (CEST), will present the End FGM E-Campus platform as a vital tool in efforts to end female genital mutilation (FGM), supporting professionals in healthcare, education, social services, and policy-making. The workshop is co-organised with the World Health Organization (WHO).

We are thrilled to invite you along with the World Health Organization (WHO) to our upcoming online workshop on Ending FGM: aligning care, policy, and action”.  The End FGM E-Campus is a free European knowledge platform offering professionals from various sectors valuable skills and knowledge in supporting survivors of FGM and women and girls at risk.
The End FGM E-Campus is an EU-co-funded project and coordinated by MIGS (Cyprus) and implemented in partnership with AIDOS (Italy), APF (Portugal), CUT (Cyprus), End FGM European Network (EU-level), GAMS (Belgium).

What to expect:

  • Showcase the role of the platform as an essential resource in preventing and ultimately ending FGM for professionals dealing with the practice in their field of work.
  • Highlight, together with WHO, the importance of continuous trainings for professionals addressing FGM in the sector of health and education.
  • Interactive live demonstration of the E-Campus Platform and present the full features of the platform.
  • Discussion on how the Platform is well aligned with the new WHO guidelines on the management of health complications from female genital mutilation.
