On the 6th of February 2018: “Une politique étrangère féministe de l’UE - Mettre fin aux mutilations génitales féminines”, S&D and Global Progressive Forum event, European Parliament, Strasbourg (France)

End FGM EU participated in the panel of an event organised in Strasbourg by the Socialists & Democrats Group on the occasion of the International Day on Zero Tolerance for FGM. After the projection of the documentary “Uncut”, we stressed the importance of looking at FGM in the continuum of gender based violence against women and girls and the crucial need of mainstreaming it within all relevant policies. The evening ended with a final plug to the launch of our Annual Campaign: FGM is #MyIssueToo at the presence of MEPs, NGOs, journalists and general public.
