Advisory Committee on equal opportunities for women and men - Opinion on an EU initiative on female genital mutilation (2013)

The Opinion on an EU initiative on female genital mutilation by the Advisory Committee on Equal Opportunities between men and women offers recommendations on how to develop EU measures to fight female genital mutilation. The opinion recommends EU action in the areas of data collection, asylum support, international cooperation, education and awareness, and funding.
