Marly Bah is a gynecolyst obstétrician and surgeon who performs clitoral reconstruction. 

Marly is French from Guinean origins, Guinea is a high prevalence country for FGM according to WHO. 

Marly has experience with FGM for many years in her medical practice and through her involvement with Equipop as a s médiator and trainer.

FGM was also the topic of the thesis she presented to become a medical doctor. She has also organised and continues to organise training sessions at the hospitals where she worked in. With Equipop, she worked on many awareness-raising and FGM prevention projects. She has worked as a mediator in the project « CHANGE PLUS ». She also worked as a trainer in the « Let’s change » and « CHAIN » projects and was able to participate to EU advocacy meetings and activities.
