We are proud to present this Guide on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) for EU Decision-Makers, highlighting the importance of stronger political support, targeted funding, and comprehensive strategies that prioritize the protection and empowerment of affected communities, working together to shape a future free from FGM. This guide was developed by our Policy & Advocacy Team (Nejma, Sayeh, Tania Hosseinian) and our Senior Communications Officer (Ludovica Stornaiuolo). By working together with EU institutions and leaders, we can build a future where FGM and gender-based violence no longer exist. This guide provides essential insights, tools, and recommendations that EU decision-makers can adopt to drive meaningful change in 2024 and beyond.
